Each phase of a woman’s life presents different challenges in regards to health and well-being. Our professionals have completed further training to enable them to prescribe exercise to suit these challenges ranging from pre-pregnancy, post-partum to menopause to aged related conditions such as osteoporosis.

Exercise in water is an absolutely amazing modality for individuals with join pain, limited movement and balance. Hydrotherapy provides amazing benefit for all age groups, children with sensory conditions benefit from the soothing effects of water, whilst the elderly are able to gain so much more movement than they can on land.

We understand that no two injuries are the same and take an individualised approach to rehabilitation from a work place injury. We are able to offer hydrotherapy and gym based sessions as part of rehabilitation plans.

What our clients say about us

When I first came to Health Moves, I was a little apprehensive as I hadn’t been in a gym for many years. After talking to my Exercise Physiologist, I began to relax. That was over a year ago and I haven’t looked back. With the kilos I’ve shed and overall fitness for my age, I haven’t felt this good in years

Jane H, Cairns.

My son has been participating in one on one fitness sessions and he absolutely loves it! This is the first time that he wants to exercise and we are already starting to see the results physically. He is more confident and is making better food choices too. All of the staff are incredibly professional and supportive and listen to and put in action all of our goals. This is the best service that we have used so I definitely recommend Health Moves to everyone.

Kayla C, Brinsmead

I started with Health Moves around 18 months ago. I suffer from osteoarthritis and lack of range of movement in my shoulders and hips. Since having a more targeted therapy approach, I have been able to reduce my pain levels caused by my osteoarthritis and have increased my range of movement in my shoulders.

Rob S, Bayview Heights.

I have been attending Health Moves for more than one year. I commenced undertaking an exercise program following a hernia operation and continued attending after my rehabilitation in order to maintain body condition/strength as I age. Louise and her team are highly professional and caring people. Above all, I find that the good humour and kindness that they extend to myself and other session participants is beneficial to my mental health too.
