Group Exercise Classes

At Health Moves Exercise Physiology we offer  TWO types of group exercises classes; MOVE TO HEALTH which is a PERSONALISED GROUP EXERCISE CLASS and STRUCTURED CIRCUIT BASED GROUP CLASSES. Both classes are designed to assist individuals in achieving their health goals through guided movement programs, but there are some inherent differences between the two group classes.  

How are the group exercise classes different?

Personalised Group Exercise Classes

  • Every group participant has their own INDIVIDUAILSED program, tailored to their goals and health needs
  • Participants move through their programs at their own pace; there is no pressure to keep up with other participants
  • As everyone has their own program the classes are suitable for all abilities
  • Classes are capped at 10 participants  so we can keep an eye on everyone and make sure exercises are completed correctly
  • All classes are supervised by our accredited exercise physiologists

Structured Circuit based Classes

  • Classes are designed to target a specific condition or audience such as Falls prevention class.
  • Participants follow a circuit of exercises instructed by our exercise physiologists
  • Individuals must be suitable to attend classes
  • Classes are capped at 10 participants  so we can keep an eye on everyone and make sure exercises are completed correctly
  • All classes are supervised by our accredited exercise physiologists

  • Individuals who want to be supervised to ensure they are executing their exercises correctly
  • Individuals who want regular follow up to ensure they meet their goals
  • Individuals with Chronic health conditions who require close supervision
