Hydrotherapy is a fantastic form of exercise for individuals who have conditions such as arthritis, chronic pain, muscle weakness, balance concerns, hyper mobility, muscle tightness… the list goes  on.In Fact, hydrotherapy is an amazing exercise modality for anyone who wants to improve their functionality. 

The supportive action of the water allows participants to remain buoyant/ float throughout their exercise session reducing weight bearing during exercise. This means individuals are able to use a larger range of movement in all joints with reduction of pain/ stiffness or discomfort.

If your practitioner thinks that Hydrotherapy is right for you they will ask you to complete a hydrotherapy pre-screening tool. They will then put together an individualised program to help you  achieve your goals.

 Hydrotherapy sessions take place at Tobruk rehabilitation pool. The pool is set between 28-32, this assists with muscle relaxation, and provides all accessibility options for those with reduced mobility (ramp/ stairs).

We deliver both Hydrotherapy and Group hydrotherapy classes at various times during the week.
